Farmers Market Pep Band and “Dad Jokes”

Question: What do you call an attractive vegetable?
Answer: A cutecumber!
These were the types of jokes told during the West Bend High School Bands auxiliary pep band on Saturday the 6th at the city’s Farmers Market.  During this, we played through our entire folios multiple times, with songs including, but not limited to: Mickey, Holiday, Paint it Black, Fireball, and Downtown.  We played both school songs in preparation for Homecoming.  Speaking of homecoming preparation, the weekend was filled with band activities from Friday’s East vs Nicolet football pep band (we won!), Saturday’s Farmers Market, Sunday’s Audubon days parade in Mayville, and Monday’s outdoor field show practice.  Around the start of school, band is a very busy, yet fun and lighthearted activity that provides lifelong musical enrichment.
