The night was chilly and misty, but the band always plays on.
After playing for the first three football games, the band, both freshmen and upperclassmen, marched up to the field for the fourth and final time before the homecoming game. Together, many dressed in pink to support breast cancer awareness, the seniors played their last football pep band with the West Bend band. Many felt melancholy to play with their senior band family for the last time, but it was still a fun experience as usual. It was a great game to end on, as East won 42-8 against Nicolet, giving the band plenty of times to play eat-’em-ups.
This was the second and last game for the freshmen, who will not perform for the homecoming game, but will continue on the band legacy.
