The WBHS Marching Band…
…consists of students from both West Bend West and West Bend East High School. We are ONE Band but support both high school athletics programs throughout the school year due to the unique layout of our district high schools (which share one building).
This makes for a busy schedule! The West Bend High School Band appear in a number of area parades such as the West Bend Christmas Parade, West Bend Memorial Day Parade, and West Bend Homecoming Parade. The band is also a crowd favorite at the Christmas Lights Parade in Baraboo and the Mayville Audubon Days Parade.
The WBHS Marching Band performs one field show each year at half time of the West Bend High Schools homecoming game between East and West. Additionally, the bands perform one high energy indoor varsity band-style performance in fall to raise money for student music scholarships. The band has performed in Greece, Italy, London, and Ireland. In 2025, WBHS Bands will go on a week-long tour to New Orleans!
The WBHS Marching Band includes an outstanding color-guard and an award-winning drumline who rehearse and perform under the leadership of experienced coaches Megan Filo (drumline) and Emily Schalla (colorguard).
At West Bend High School, the marching band is a curricular ensemble that splits into two parts to become the Symphonic Band or Honors Wind Ensemble during the second and third quarter.

West Bend High School Bands
